I am an intern for a small businesses named By Iman Akilah. My duties for this position is to create marketing content for all social media platforms. We focus on creating campaigns, ads, and email marketing to attract potential customers. We are responsible for going LIVE on Facebook and Instagram every Tuesday and Thursday for our "Try on Sessions" and "Q&A" to get customers engaged. While completing all the duties we are also responsible for reaching out to influencers and creating photoshoots for the brand.

My duties for this position was to exceed customers' expectations for service, quality, and value. I retrieved, processed, and packaged online orders. Handled over the phone inquiries and request. Handled cash flow with all customers and employees/distributed change and refunds.

My classmates and I worked with Georgia World Congress Center Authority on their visual identity. We acquired knowledge based on the information given by the employees and then we made ideas on how their company could be unified as one based on their apparel and designs. We then designed apparel and placed their logo on multiple items using Photoshop and Indesign. Lastly, we designed accessories to help them identify their brand and presented to them the different options.

This class taught us how to use Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to work on our SCADPro project with Georgia World Congress Center Authority. Each of us recreated logos and applied it onto existing products using Adobe. It also enhanced my presentation and communication skills by presenting various times a month.

I helped market Enterprise each week to multiple companies to ensure that they were still the number one rental car service provider and made sure we communicated to the companies. Exceeded our customers’ expectations for service, quality, and value. I acquired the knowledge of running a business. Became proficient in exceeding the $300 mark in sales each month by selling products to every customer. During my time there I was consistent with being top 10 and top 50
in Virginia for having high sales every three months. Lastly, I worked cross-functionally with Geico Insurance Company and ensured their clients had rental cars for every appointment.
